Damn I was actually looking forward to this one!!!
I knew that this game was in real trouble when they talked about adding Ray Tracing--a key next gen feature via a patch after the game launch. This delay was not totally surprising.
Now there will be no excuses. Phil said months ago that he wasn't tying down the console launch to one game including Halo Infinite.
Why is this news? It's not like the game was built from scratch. They probably can release it tomorrow if they wanted to.
Spiderman or not this game hasn't generated good hype or buzz based off what I have been seeing on the net. This game is about 2-3 years too late in my opionion.
I am glad someone remembered what happened. They were taking MS to the cleaners. MS wasn't going to keep giving those guys money for developing a poor product. How can anyone fault MS for that?

Sony makes great games. But none of their games are games are system sellers. Their games are the types of games where if you have a Playstation you are going to pick it up. No one is going to buy a PS5 for a single player game. It's kind of like Netflix. I might be in the minority here but I never had a major issue with loading screens. It gave me some time to get mentally ready for battle.

I owned the Zune HD. It was probably the best mp3 player ever created. It had HD radio before most people knew what it was. Not all failed products were bad products.
I prefer this rather then having a company repackage DLC that was designed for the current gen as a launch title for next gen. and sell it like a new game (Spiderman). Let everyone enjoy it.
